Q: Who do I contact if I am having problems accessing online materials?
A: If you encounter problems using the online learning environment you should contact the moderator of the programme you are enrolled on. This will usually be vleadmin@research-toolkit.co.uk.
Q: How can participants feedback on activities in the taught or online sessions?
A: We welcome your feedback and ideas and will endeavour to provide the academic sessions and support that you request. You can give us your ideas by posting to the forum/discussion groups.
Q: Who will have access to the student discussion forums and the VLE (online learning environment)?
A: Only students participating in the programme they are registered for will have access to the online discussion forums. Teachers, parents and the general public will not have access to the information contained in these pages or the contact details of the students using them. The forum will be monitored by an authorised member of staff working on the scheme to ensure the welfare and safety of students using the forums.
Q: What do I do if I find offensive or abusive online material from another participant or student?
A: Research Toolkit Limited take your online safety very seriously. You must contact the moderator immediately if you suspect that there is any bullying or threatening behaviour or illegal access to the forum.
Q: What is expected of participants (students)?
A: Students are expected to comply with the Code of Conduct that they are requested to sign at the beginning of the programme. They will also have to sign a VLE Code of Conduct.
